Someone I Admire

    "Do you have anybody that you admire?" They asked. Such a basic question usually ask when we just meet for the first time. For that question, i need to be frank here. I don't really have any admiration towards other people. At least for people in real life. I actually have a fictional character that i admire so much. I won't tell his full name, but i'm going to describe him as much as i could. 

   His story in the game is set in 3rd grade in high school. His nickname is "firefly squid" in the game. It's from his blue hair. He has a pretty timid personality, yet he can be pretty aggressive when it comes to his hobbies. He excels in programming and "technomancy". The reason i really admire him as a character is because his past. He really loves his family, especially his brother. He enters the high school purely because of his parents' request, yet he never actually slack off there. He did what he can and still trying to scores in his least favourable subjects, and that is sport! the same as me. 

    He really teaches me that it's okay if you have a subject you don't excel with, and it's completely okay if you don't like it. Back then, i really have a bad mindset about my score, so when i see him in the game, it's like i meet a whole new perspective. He also reminds me a lot with myself and my family. He comes from a very rich family, yet he himself doesn't want to stand out that much. He keeps a low profile and only answer if it's needed. If it's not really important, he will stay out and won't stick his nose with people's problem. He enjoys a quiet and peaceful life. But despite all of that personality, he actually becomes a leader in his dorm! I'm surprised when i read it for the first time. I never expect him to become a leader because of his timid and peaceful personality. 

    His junior once asked him, "why do you want to become a housewarden?". And then he answers it with "You know, i actually only become a housewarden because of my ability." He said that he only believes in his own ability for leading his dorm. Such a narcissist statement caught me off guard. But then, little by little, he begins to open up more to his dormmates. He also mentioned that those statement he said was actually for make himself believes his own ability. 

    I admire him so much. I hope i can be somewhere near his ability and i can keep seeing his growth until the game ends.
