The Changing Landscape Of Education

        "Paperless environment", "Online Learning Resources", "Computer Based Exam" those are things that sounds very familiar to us now. In this modern era, exactly on the 21st century, technology and knowledge has developed faster than before. It affects so many aspect in our life, some of it are Communication, Transportation, Occupation, and also Education. 

        Education has developed so much with the help of technology and also science. There's a lot of advantage we can get from it. Before modern technology is used in education, we always need to do something on paper. We need to do our homework on a paper or book, we also take notes on papers. Now the only thing we need to do to write down something is to pull out our devices from our pocket. From that alone, we can reduce the amount of tree being slashed down. We can decrease our pollution daily. Aside from that, we can also do the work anytime and anywhere, also sharing it easier because we have social medias for that. That also means the information we get will be faster and larger.

        Other than that, of course, in every advantage, there's also disadvantages. The disadvantages may vary between individuals, but there's some conclusion we get from them. That is, for the first point, is the excessive usage of our device. The excessive usage of our device can lead us to a very toxic situation where we depended to technology too much. An evidence for this is our break time. People could barely separate themselves with their phone, even during their breaks. The second point is the character of technology itself. Technology has the concept of doing something as efficient as possible. People in modern era usually interpret it as doing it faster. So they ended up rushing their works and lazy around after that. They got spoiled with technology so they never recheck again their works.

        Despite all of that, we cannot see it as only white and black. The final conclusion is we need to think again about the solution of the problem it has caused by reevaluating the disadvantages, while also oversees the advantages so that it wont turn into a new problem.
